Mental health is something I've found that almost everyone has struggled with. Over the past few years, I have learned that pushing away your feelings and keeping them bottled up will only hurt you more. It is certainly not easy to talk about mental health, but it is something that people need to hear and share about. Striving to provide the best for yourself and finding your goals will lead you to not only feel better, but do better. Mental health deals with our emotional, psychological, and social well being. I, myself have had my fair share of struggles with mental health, feeling like I’m not good enough, feeling like I don’t have anyone to turn to, overthinking just about everything, and wondering when I’ll feel like my happy self again. Overcoming something can seem so small but has such a great impact in so many different ways. Having someone that will listen and provide you with the strength you need is key to dealing with your struggles. Checking up on your friends and asking them how they are or even how their day was can make a bigger impact than you might think. Take time out of your day, to write down five things you are grateful for and remember them, that is what keeps you going. I think it is overwhelmingly important to talk about mental health and to not feel like you will be judged for your feelings. No one should ever feel like they can’t talk about it. Life is a gift, don’t waste it stressing over small things that will have a resolution. There is always a light at the end of each road, no matter how rough it may be.

Love, Sav
